Supervisor George Stewart won a special election in November 2025 for the Gainesville District vacancy on the Prince William Board of County Supervisors. He was sworn in on November 14, 2025 for a term that runs through December 2027.
George is a devoted husband to Andrea Stewart and the proud father of two daughters: Madison and Arabella. He is also a grandfather to Malakai. George and his wife, Andrea (Drea), reside in Dominion Valley with their daughter Arabella.
George is a New York City native whose lifelong commitment to service began early. Two days after graduating high school in 1986, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he trained in aviation electronics. He served honorably on active duty until 1991. Following his military service, George moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he launched his own business and served on the Vancouver Board of Trade. At the end of 1994, he returned to New York City and began a new chapter on Wall Street—first as a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch and later as a proprietary trader for the Schonfeld Group.
George was raised in a deeply civically engaged family, a value that continues to shape every aspect of his life. His record of community and public service includes:

- Secretary, Dominion Valley Homeowners Association
- Vice Chair, Gainesville Democratic Committee
- Vice Chair, Prince William County Board of Equalization
- Member, Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC)
- Vice President, Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church Board of Trustees
